The Jape Group is a family-owned and operated organisation with roots in Australia and Timor Leste. Their diverse portfolio encompasses property development, retail, hospitality, and tourism sectors. The portfolio includes Jape Homemaker Village, Jape Furnishing Superstore, Forty Winks Darwin, Timor Plaza, Dili Central and Timor Plaza Hotel & Apartments. The group currently employs over 450 people.

Joining the family business in 1978, Alan has played a pivotal role in guiding the Jape Group’s growth and portfolio diversification. Alan specialises in property development and investments in Australia and Timor Leste. He serves the community in his ongoing role as a Justice of the Peace (JP) in Australia.
Pamela Jape FCPA
Managing Director
Pamela joined the Jape Group in 1994. Drawing on her experience and qualifications as a Certified Practising Accountant (FCPA), her primary focus is on strategic planning, finance, legal, human resources, and IT. Pamela serves as a member of the Timor Leste Australia Business Council and holds an appointment on the board of the Cancer Council NT.
