Operating since 1945, the Hannon Group has owned and operated in a broad range of industries both in the Northern Territory and interstate; at peak employing over 1,000 people. Industries include public and private bus passenger transportation services, crocodile farming, property development and management, waste management and recycling, media and ICT services. They are still actively involved in several of these industries in the NT.  

Hannon Group are currently concentrating on commercial property development and management in the Northern Territory, interstate and overseas.  

Michael is a board member of a Hermes subsidiary company, Primary Resource Investments, Australia’s largest crocodile farming organisation, producing skins for the international market. 

Michael and Mick are involved in many boards and committees, are committed to the success of the Northern Territory and leaving a legacy for their families and future generations of Territorians. Michael Hannon Snr is a former past President of the Darwin Major Business Group.
