The Darwin Convention Centre (DCC) is located in the vibrant Darwin Waterfront precinct, with the aim to drive local, national and international visitation and events to Darwin and generate economic benefit to Darwin and the Northern Territory. The Centre is a public-private partnership between the Northern Territory Government, DEXUS (investment partner), Honeywell (facilities manager) and ASM Global (venue manager). Employing over 30 full-time staff and up to 300 casuals in the peak event season, the DCC is capable of handling national and international conferences and meetings, exhibitions, gala dinners, award ceremonies, seminars, concerts and special events.

Since opening in 2008, DCC has established a reputation as a modern, multi-award-winning Centre that has welcomed over 923,000 visitors and generated over $522 million in delegate expenditure into Darwin and the NT. Peter Savoff was appointed as General Manager of the Darwin Convention Centre in early 2019.  Previously, Peter led the development and management of the multi-award-winning Emporium Hotels in Brisbane and has more than 25 years’ experience in International Hotels and Professional Services management.
